Service Engineer - South East UK & West London, London

Join our team as a Service Engineer to support our Surgical Workplaces service team, focusing on our Sterile Reprocessing portfolio of products. This field-based role involves routine servicing, testing, and repairing medical devices in hospitals across the UK and Ireland.

We are seeking individuals with a background in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering, who are self-motivated and capable of managing their workload independently. Comprehensive training and career development opportunities are provided.

Responsibilities include:
  • Interacting professionally with customers and demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills
  • Performing routine testing, mechanical servicing, and fault diagnosis on equipment
  • Calibrating equipment and reporting faults
  • Managing spare parts inventory and maintaining service documentation
  • Communicating with internal teams and adhering to quality and safety standards
  • Organizing workload and providing out-of-hours support on a rota basis
  • Producing reports and assisting team members as needed
  • Identifying sales leads and contributing to continuous improvement
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Recognized qualification in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronic Engineering (e.g., City & Guilds Levels 1 & 2)
  • Experience in field-based work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems like GForce
  • Strong organizational skills and a positive team attitude
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home as required
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
