Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Service Engineer to service, install and maintain air compressors and generators on a local patch around Leicester. You will travel to sites within a 75-mile radius, with a provided van, laptop and phone, plus healthcare and 25 days holiday.

The role is field-based, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with full training on oxygen and nitrogen generators. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with air compressor experience, seeking a stable

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering experience with air compressors or similar equipment.
• Experience servicing and maintaining industrial compressors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to sites within a local patch to service, install and maintain air compressors and generators.
• Provide full servicing and maintenance, with training on oxygen and nitrogen generators.
• Work on a local patch with a 2/3 hour radius of home, typically Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Are you an Engineer with any experience working on air compressors, looking for a field-based role covering a local patch with door to door pay, in a provided van in a long-term and stable role?

Covering a 75-mile radius around Leicester, you will be servicing, installing and maintaining a range of industrial air compressors and generators, with plenty of training given.

Founded over 15 years ago, this company are experienced unprecedented growth and are looking to bolster the team for the long term, doubling their turnover last year. They work within most industries including manufacturing, laboratories, MoD, and oil & gas.

This role would suit a Service or Maintenance Engineer with compressor experience looking for a career in a company who will invest in them, with further training on specialist equipment.

The Role:

• Travelling to sites from Derby, up to Leeds and down to Birmingham
• Performing servicing, maintenance and installation of air compressors and generators
• Full training provided on oxygen and nitrogen generators
• Covering a local patch within a 2/3 hour radius of your home, home almost every night
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, some flexibility needed
