Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Service Engineer with air compressor experience to cover a Derby-based patch. You will service, install and maintain a range of industrial air compressors and generators.

The role is field-based, predominantly Mon-Fri 40 hours, with some overtime possible. A local travel radius of up to around 75 miles around Derby is required, with training on oxygen and nitrogen generators provided.

Qualifications

• Air compressor experience is required.
• Willingness to travel within a local patch around Derby.
• Field service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and installing air compressors and generators.
• Full training provided on oxygen and nitrogen generators.

Are you a Service Engineer with air compressor experience, looking to cover a local patch with optional overtime, whilst being trained on specialist equipment such as oxygen and nitrogen generators?

Covering a 75-mile radius around Derby, you will be servicing, installing and maintaining a range of industrial air compressors and generators.

Founded over 15 years ago, this company are experienced unprecedented growth and are looking to bolster the team for the long term, doubling their turnover last year. They work within most industries including manufacturing, laboratories, MoD, and oil & gas.

This role would suit a Service Engineer with compressor experience looking for a career in a company who will invest in them, with further training on specialist equipment.

The Role:

• Travelling to sites from Derby, up to Leeds and down to Birmingham
• Performing servicing, maintenance and installation of air compressors and generators
• Full training provided on oxygen and nitrogen generators
• Covering a local patch within a 2/3 hour radius of your home, home almost every night
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, some flexibility needed
