Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Service Engineer with air compressor experience to cover a local patch around Derby. You will service, install and maintain a range of air compressors and generators, with full training on oxygen and nitrogen generators.

The role involves travel within a 75-mile radius, with home almost every night, and a 40-hour week from Monday to Friday. A strong training path and long-term outlook are offered.

Are you a Service Engineer with air compressor experience, looking to cover a local patch with optional overtime, whilst being trained on specialist equipment such as oxygen and nitrogen generators?

Covering a 75-mile radius around Derby, you will be servicing, installing and maintaining a range of industrial air compressors and generators.

Founded over 15 years ago, this company are experienced unprecedented growth and are looking to bolster the team for the long term, doubling their turnover last year. They work within most industries including manufacturing, laboratories, MoD, and oil & gas.

This role would suit a Service Engineer with compressor experience looking for a career in a company who will invest in them, with further training on specialist equipment.

The Role:

• Travelling to sites from Derby, up to Leeds and down to Birmingham
• Performing servicing, maintenance and installation of air compressors and generators
• Full training provided on oxygen and nitrogen generators
• Covering a local patch within a 2/3 hour radius of your home, home almost every night
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, some flexibility needed
