Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is helping a Leicester-based employer recruit a Service Engineer to service, install and maintain industrial air compressors and generators. You will be field-based with a provided company van, covering a local patch with door-to-door pay and a clear progression path.

The role offers Monday to Friday hours, a salary of £40,000-£45,000 plus bonus potential (OTE around £49,000), and a benefits package including a laptop, phone, healthcare and 25 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Servicing, maintenance and installation of air compressors and generators.
• Full training provided on oxygen and nitrogen generators.
• Travelling to sites within a local patch with door-to-door pay.
• Home-based travel with a provided van and 40-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Travel to sites from Derby up to Leeds and down to Birmingham.
• Perform servicing, maintenance and installation of air compressors and generators.
• Full training provided on oxygen and nitrogen generators.
• Cover a local patch within a 2/3 hour radius of your home, home almost every night.
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, some flexibility needed.
