Job summary

DEMOB JOB LIMITED is seeking an electrically biased Service Engineer for the Southeast, covering Portsmouth and surrounding areas. You will travel to customer sites to service, maintain and repair the company’s products, with a Monday–Friday 40-hour week and on-call duties.

The ideal candidate holds an electrical engineering qualification level 3, has strong fault-finding skills and is IT literate. A full UK driving licence is essential and a company car or car allowance is provided.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical engineering qualification level 3 as a minimum.
• Proven mechanical skills.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills with an interest in problem solving.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work using own initiative.
• Prepared to attend callouts with weekend availability.
• IT literate.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites and perform service, maintenance and repair of the company's products.
• Provide on-site fault diagnosis and repairs.
• Take part in callouts, including weekends, as required.

Location: Southeast Portsmouth, Havant, Fareham, Gosport, Chichester, Eastleigh, Petersfield, Godalming, Guildford, Woking, Kingston upon Thames and Windsor areas.

Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE plus car/car allowance + benefits

Due to continued expansion, they now have an immediate requirement for an electrically biased Service Engineer to join their team in the Southeast. The successful Service Engineer will travel to customer sites and will carry out the service, maintenance and repair of the companys range of products. Candidates living in or close to the following locations are encouraged to apply: Portsmouth, Havant, Fareham, Gosport, Chichester, Eastleigh, Petersfield, Godalming, Guildford, Woking, Kingston upon Thames and Windsor areas.
