Job summary

Demob Job Ltd is recruiting a Service Engineer for the Southeast region, covering Portsmouth, Havant, Fareham, Gosport, Chichester and Eastleigh areas. You will travel to customer sites to service, maintain and repair the company’s range of products.

The role requires an electrically biased engineer with a Level 3 electrical qualification, strong fault-finding skills, and a proactive, self-motivated approach.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical engineering qualification – level 3 minimum.
• Proven mechanical skills.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work using own initiative.
• Prepared to attend callouts with weekend availability.
• IT literate.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to service, maintain and repair the company’s range of products.
• Carry out service and maintenance on the range of products.
• Contribute to diagnostics and fault finding on systems at customer locations.
• Support customers with on-site technical issues and provide clear reporting.

Job Title: Service Engineer

Location: Southeast – Portsmouth, Havant, Fareham, Gosport, Chichester, and Eastleigh areas.

Salary: Up to £42,000 DOE plus car/car allowance + benefits

I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client who has become the leading provider of specialist services in the healthcare sector. Due to continued expansion, they now have an immediate requirement for an electrically biased Service Engineer to join their team in the Southeast. The successful Service Engineer will travel to customer sites and will carry out the service, maintenance and repair of the company’s range of products.

Service Engineer Requirements:

• Hold a recognised electrical engineering qualification – level 3 as a minimum.
• Have proven mechanical skills.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills with an interest in problem solving.
• Candidates must be self-motivated with the ability to work using own initiative.
• Prepared to attend callouts with weekend availability.
• IT literate.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Service Engineer Benefits:

• Salary is up to £42,000 per annum.
