Job summary

Demob Job Ltd is seeking an electrically biased Service Engineer to cover the Southeast. You will travel to customer sites to service, maintain and repair the company’s products, ensuring minimal downtime.

The role requires Level 3 electrical qualification, solid mechanical skills, fault finding ability, and a willingness to work weekend callouts. IT literacy and a valid UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified in electrical engineering at Level 3 or higher.
• Proven mechanical skills and fault-finding ability.
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
• Prepared to attend callouts with weekend availability.
• IT literate and possess a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Job description

Job Title: Service Engineer

Location: Southeast – Portsmouth, Havant, Fareham, Gosport, Chichester, and Eastleigh areas.

Salary: Up to £42,000 DOE plus car/car allowance + benefits

I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client who has become the leading provider of specialist services in the healthcare sector. Due to continued expansion, they now have an immediate requirement for an electrically biased Service Engineer to join their team in the Southeast. The successful Service Engineer will travel to customer sites and will carry out the service, maintenance and repair of the company’s range of products.

Service Engineer Requirements:

• Hold a recognised electrical engineering qualification – level 3 as a minimum.
• Have proven mechanical skills.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills with an interest in problem solving.
• Candidates must be self-motivated with the ability to work using own initiative.
• Prepared to attend callouts with weekend availability.
• IT literate.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Service Engineer Benefits:

• Salary is up to £42,000 per annum.
