Job summary

Anglian Home Improvements is seeking an experienced Window and Door Engineer to service customers in their homes, carrying out uPVC installations and maintenance under our 10-year warranty. A company van, PDA and tools are provided to perform the role.

You will visit customer homes, diagnose faults, explain product care, and deliver high-quality service with a Right First Time approach. Travel across the region is required; a full driving licence and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of uPVC installation and maintenance.
• Excellent customer service skills in a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to work on own initiative in a standalone field-based role.
• Willingness to travel and flexibility within the working week.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and a full driving license.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer homes to identify faults and rectify under warranty and quality standards.
• Explain correct product care to customers.
• Provide high level of service to every customer.
• Complete service calls on schedule using Right First Time approach to reduce cancellations.
• Accurate and timely completion of paperwork and updating PDA device.

Job description

Are you an experienced Window and Door Engineer who takes pride in their work? Do you have a passion for exceptional customer service? Are you someone who wants to get the job done right, first time every time? Do you have previous experience of uPVC installation and maintenance?

Our Window and Door Engineers are essential to efficiently & effectively assist our customers with any product and installation related maintenance for Anglian installed products covered by our 10-year warranty. We will provide all the tools and equipment that you will need to carry out this role including a van, PDA, mobile phone and tools.

Your duties will include:

• Visiting customer homes, identifying the fault and taking the appropriate action to rectify in line with our warranty and our quality standards
• To demonstrate & explain correct product care to customers
• Be customer focused and provide a high level of service to every customer
• Completing service calls as scheduled and in a timely manner using our, “Right First Time” approach, helping to reduce any cancelled appointments
• Accurate and timely completion of paperwork and regular updating of the supplied PDA device

You will need:

• Experience of uPVC installation and maintenance (or relevant qualification)
• Excellent customer service skills and experience in a customer facing environment
• Be able to work on your own initiative in a standalone field based role
• A willingness to travel as required and show flexibility within the working week
• Good time management skills
• Good communication skills
• A full driving license
