Service Engineer

Pertemps Reading are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer and EV Charging Technician to work with a Manufacturing company in the Reading area.

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

1. Organise and complete service visits according to manufacturer's recommendations
2. Position, install and commission equipment at customer sites
3. Provide technical support to colleagues and customers
4. Advise Head Office of any sales opportunities during the course of duties
5. Feedback quality issues to the office

To be considered for this Service Engineer role, you should possess the following:

1. Previous experience in a similar role
2. Health & Safety certification
3. Customer accreditation (UKPN, National Grid, London Underground etc)
4. Electrical and electronic fault finding
5. Analytical problem solving
6. Physical ability to do the job (manual handling)
