Senior Technical Engineer @ Hutchinson Environmental Solutions

Due to company growth, we are currently looking to fill the below post:

Location: Required for North East England & Yorkshire Area

To undertake the maintenance, service, repair, and refurbishments of pump stations and sewage treatment plants in and around the North East Area.

• Undertake the maintenance, service, repair and refurbishment of sewage treatment, pumping stations and associated equipment, including electrical components

• Carry out both planned maintenance visits and attend call-outs where necessary in a timely manner

• Examine and report any defects, report any abnormalities

• Supply details, measurements, and full descriptions of any components that require replacement

• You must be able to work well on your own and within a team

• You will manage your own workload to meet company & customer demands

• You will communicate regularly with customers and colleagues face to face and over the phone

• Knowledge of sewage treatment plant and pumping stations is desirable but not essential

• Electrical qualifications are desirable but not essential

• You will be supplied with a Company vehicle so you MUST hold a valid Full UK Driving Licence

• You will be supplied with a Company mobile smart phone so knowledge of using a smart phone is desirable

• Standard hours of work are 47.5 per week plus overtime

• A flexible working attitude is necessary to meet the client and business needs

• You will be required to stay away overnight occasionally

• Taking part in a call out Rota – with other engineers in the Service Team – approximately 1 in 7 weekends

• Full training will be given to successful candidate

In house training will be given for successful candidate

First 6 months of employment is probationary
