Job summary

Primaire Consulting Ltd on behalf of a leading OEM is seeking a Service Engineer to deliver installation, commissioning, and servicing of advanced monitoring instruments across UK and international sites.

You will diagnose faults, maintain service records, travel extensively, and build relationships with major clients while following ISO9001 standards and site safety protocols. The role involves hands-on engineering, problem solving, and client interactions on premier industrial sites.

Qualifications

• HNC in an Engineering discipline or equivalent hands-on engineering experience.
• Full UK driving license (required for company van usage).
• Willingness to travel internationally and across the UK, including overnight stays.
• Strong communication skills and IT literacy (MS Office).
• Experience with Gas Analysers, CEMS, Stack/Tunnel Monitoring, or Process Instrumentation.
• Background in heavy industry environments (Oil & Gas, Power, Chemical, Pharmaceuticals, Refineries).
• Knowledge of Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) systems.
• Valid CCNSG Safety Passport or CSCS card.
• Candidate ideally based in the North and Midlands.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair work on instrumentation for UK and international clients.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot complex systems on-site and remotely.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports in line with ISO9001 and site safety standards.
• Act as a technical ambassador, building relationships with key industrial clients.

This role combines hands-on engineering, problem-solving, and client interaction across premier industrial sites in the UK and overseas.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

Required:

• HNC in an Engineering discipline OR equivalent hands-on engineering experience.
