Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd is seeking a Service Engineer based in Manchester to cover UK service work. You will service and repair a range of process machinery at customer sites, with occasional travel across the UK and time based in Manchester when not on site.

The role offers a days-based pattern with overtime opportunities that can increase earnings; benefits include a pension, vehicle, healthcare and overtime earnings potential between £10-15k.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained mechanical engineer as a must.
• Previous service engineering experience is essential.
• Experience with compressed air, pneumatics and filtration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Flexibility to travel; field service engineer role with time based in Manchester when not on site.

My client is one of UK’s leading process engineering providers of turnkey solutions to a wide variety of fast moving manufacturing industries. They have been established for over 30 years. With a growing presence, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become centre of excellence within a variety of technical solutions to the wide variety of manufacturing based companies. Due to further expansion within the British market, they have the need to recruit an additional service engineer.

The Role

The successful candidate will ideally be a mechanical service engineer, who can service and repair a variety of process machinery within the manufacturing industry. This will be a service based role covering the clients across the UK, thought when not on site you will be based in Manchester, equipment such as compressed air, pneumatics, blowers and filtration equipment. The ideal candidate will be from a service engineering background, within similar manufacturing processes within this industry, but will need to be aware that there needs to be flexibility in the role in terms of time spent travelling, as this is a field service engineering role. There is an excellent opportunity for further financial gains with overtime available for the engineers who desire, leading to greater earnings.
