Job summary

Veolia is seeking an experienced CHP service engineer to perform maintenance and fault-finding on CHP plants across Yorkshire. You will visit customer sites using a company vehicle, diagnose electrical issues, and ensure compliance with Veolia safety rules.

The role requires a full driving licence, strong electrical and diagnostic skills, and a commitment to health, safety and continuous improvement. Training and development opportunities are provided as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• CHP system expertise and relevant qualification.
• Electrical & technical proficiency required.
• Engine diagnostics and fault-finding experience preferred.
• Valid driving licence required.
• Health, safety and compliance knowledge essential.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Health and Safety policies and Veolia procedures.
• Be aware of VCHP safety rules and company policies.
• Visit customer sites for CHP servicing and breakdown response using company vehicles.
• Interpret electrical drawings and OEM software packages for servicing.
• Support Customer Account Manager and Team Leaders on CHP maintenance and fault finding.
• Provide hands-on electrical training to Service Engineers when required.
• Carry out engine servicing within agreed timescales.
• Fault-find and diagnose engine reliability issues and return units to service.
