Job summary

Enterprise Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join a world leader in advanced manufacturing technology across England. You will perform complex service, repair and installation on 3D Laser/CNC systems, delivering high-quality customer care and precise service reports.

You should have a service/maintenance background in a hi-tech environment, with NVQ/City & Guilds or a degree, and you must be willing to travel and stay away from home.

Qualifications

• Service/maintenance background within a hi-tech industry.
• NVQ/City & Guilds or degree in engineering.
• Engineering background: Mechanical, electrical, electronic or electro-mechanical.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex service, repair and installation for clients across England.
• Focus on 3D Laser/CNC technology and ensure high-quality service reports.
• Maintain effective customer care and clear post-work briefings.
• Work both as part of a large team and independently as required.

Service Engineer

Role Overview

Working in a large team of service engineers, you will provide complex service, repair and installation for clients across England, focusing on 3D Laser/CNC technology. Key to this role will be effective customer care and communication, post work briefings and service reports, and you will often be required to work individually.

What are we looking for?

• Service/maintenance background within a hi-tech industry, used to working on complex machinery
• Qualifications: NVQ’s, city& guilds, degree etc
• Engineering background: Mechanical, electrical, electronic or electro-mechanical

Nice to have:

• Working knowledge of CNC systems (sheet-metal, break-press)
• Experienced in bus systems e.g. ASI, Profibus, ProfiNet, CAN
• Experienced in servo drives Bosch and Siemens
