Job summary

Enterprise Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Service Engineer to join a world leader in advanced manufacturing technology. You will perform complex service, repair and installation for clients across England, with a focus on 3D Laser and CNC systems, and deliver clear service reports.

You must have a strong engineering background (mechanical, electrical or electro‑mechanical) and be comfortable working in a large team, with occasional nights away from home to serve clients nationwide.

Qualifications

• Service/maintenance background in hi-tech industry with complex machinery.
• NVQ, City & Guilds or degree required or equivalent.
• Experience with 3D Laser and CNC systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide service, repair and installation for clients across England.
• Deliver post-work briefings and service reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers and work in a team; flexible travel and nights away as needed.

Role Overview

Working in a large team of service engineers, you will provide complex service, repair and installation for clients across England, focusing on 3D Laser/CNC technology. Key to this role will be effective customer care and communication, post work briefings and service reports, and you will often be required to work individually.

What are we looking for?

Service/maintenance background within a hi-tech industry, used to working on complex machinery

Qualifications: NVQ’s, city& guilds, degree etc

Engineering background: Mechanical, electrical, electronic or electro-mechanical

Nice to have:

• Working knowledge of CNC systems (sheet-metal, break-press)
• Experienced in bus systems e.g. ASI, Profibus, ProfiNet, CAN
• Experienced in servo drives Bosch and Siemens
