Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Service Engineer based in Oxfordshire. You will maintain a portfolio of lifts, perform routine service checks, and ensure passenger safety while keeping clients informed of work carried out.

Qualifications

• Hold an NVQ level 3 in lift service, maintenance, or repair.
• Hold a drivers license.
• You have at least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector.
• You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
• You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority.
• You are comfortable communicating to others.
• You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team.
• You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.

On a typical day you will:

• Perform routine service checks on a number of units across the site, recording and escalating your findings to the field manager.
• Be the face of the business, often providing updates to clients around work carried out.
• React to sudden breakdowns, working with both passengers and the client to provide a technical solution to breakdown issues.

What You Will Need To Be Successful.
