The Maintenance Engineer’s position is commutable from the following locations: Hyde / Manchester / Ashton-under-Lyne / Salford / Stretford / Denton.

The Maintenance Engineer will be required to work the following shift:

Duties and requirements the Maintenance engineer will hold and be responsible for:

• Previous experience within a Heavy Manufacturing Environment
• Proven experience within a Similar Role, Conducting Mechanical repairs
• Experience with Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Gearboxes, Conveyor systems, Granulators, Lifting equipment
• Welding and Fabrication abilities
• Carry out essential maintenance on all aspects of the production lines
• Work through a programme of PPM and helping develop the agility maintenance system
• Improve factory OEE through development and innovation of the production facility
• Order and Collect Spare Mechanical materials
• Maintain and monitor the machines and Equipment
• Ensure that all plant and machinery is kept in good working condition

Qualification the Maintenance Engineer will hold:

• BTEC ONC & BTEC HNC Mechanical engineering
