Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a proactive Service Desk Operator to join our team. You will be the key point of contact for customers and suppliers, handling calls, emails and messages within agreed service levels, recording data accurately and ensuring queries are resolved efficiently.

Applicants must be adaptable, detail-oriented and able to participate in DBS/BPSS and SC clearance checks. The role supports Sodexo's Business Support function, contributing to reliable administrative and operational service

Qualifications

• Ability to build productive relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and applications (e.g., networks, shared files/folders, report creation).
• Confident keyboard and data entry skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Accurately record caller details, issues, and severity levels, informing Team Leaders of high-priority situations.
• Respond promptly to calls, emails, and messages within client service levels.
• Gather and input information with strong attention to detail.
• Maintain a clear, professional telephone manner with customers and suppliers.
• Resolve queries and escalate issues when required to improve service.
• Attend training and apply updates to duties and procedures.
