Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is recruiting a Service Desk Analyst for Central London (Farringdon) on a 12-month contract. This entry-point IT role offers exposure to multiple vendors and a fast-growing MSP environment, with on-site 2-3 days per week.

You will handle first-line support, work with M365 and Excel, document resolutions, escalate complex issues, and develop towards networks or security specialties.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience in a service desk or IT support environment.
• A tech-related degree.
• Strong M365 and Excel skills.
• Full, valid driving licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing first-line IT support and resolving tickets against SLAs.
• Supporting day-to-day IT operations across the business.
• Escalating more complex issues to the right technical teams, and learning from how they're resolved.
• Working across M365 and Excel to support reporting and admin.
• Keeping clear, accurate documentation of issues and resolutions.
