  • We are headquartered in the greater Miami region, with remote teams spanning the U.S., Europe and India.

About the Role:

This role is hands on server deployment, racking, configuring, so experience with servers is essential, and blade server experience is advantageous. Hypervisor experience is also critical, such as Vsphere, VMware etc.

A CCNA or CCNP qualification would be helpful.

We’re seeking curious thinkers looking to co-author the next chapters of our story. Joining now means helping shape our vision, structures, and systems; playing a key-role as we launch into our ambitious future. We're looking for two Service Delivery Engineers to work on our NextGen connectivity platform. This is an outstanding opportunity to help build an ambitious future for our flagship product.

What You'll Do:

The role will involve deploying proprietary software for new deployments across Maritime BU, support vendor integrations, drydocks, support PoCs, and troubleshooting various issues faced during these activities by engaging with internal teams, 3rd party vendors, and customers ensuring projects are delivered on time and in accordance with defined technical standards.

The role will require global travel to perform installations and system deployments on board ships, often during drydock or at various international ports, ensuring all equipment and software are integrated and operational.

  • Being a team player, work on deployments, service POC, and change activities including Pre-configure hardware.
  • Available on call as needed to support customer escalations or other major operational events, ensuring delivery of products and services in line with applicable SLAs.
  • Writing and maintaining detailed documentation.
  • Responsible for accurately documenting and tracking hardware throughout the logistics management process, ensuring seamless inventory control and operational efficiency.
  • Work with 3rd party vendors
  • Receive hardware at staging
  • Writing and maintaining detailed documentation
  • Working daily from the office in London
  • Responsible for supporting general office management tasks, including admin duties, facility coordination, and ad hoc responsibilities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

What You'll Need:

  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally on short notice to perform on-board system installations and maintenance, often in maritime environments.
  • Essential experience with Blade Servers, x86 servers etc.
  • Essential experience with hypervisors such as VMware ESXi, VSphere, KVM etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline with extensive experience
  • Strong experience in either implementation, configuration or troubleshooting in service provider or enterprise network.
  • Efficient network understanding (LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT/PAT, static routing)
  • Knowledge on SDN-NFV and SD-WAN
  • Working experience of Cloud Computing Platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Working Knowledge of Routing & Switching and NexGen Firewall
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and documentation capabilities
  • Ability to resolve technical issues by making decisions using sound business judgement
  • Solid understanding of the functional and operational practices necessary to operate in a highly available, highly secure, and highly regulated environment to meet business and compliance requirements.
  • Foster and maintain working relationships with customers to ensure processes are optimised to support expected customer service levels.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Service-Now, and Jira would be of benefit.

What We’ll Offer:

  • Generous paid time off policy
  • Performance-based bonus
  • On-call compensation
  • Life Insurance
  • Aviation, Maritime domain exposure, and business knowledge
