Job summary

Johnsons Workwear is seeking a Service Delivery Driver to deliver and collect stock between customer sites and the plant. You will manage daily routes, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service while complying with transport legislation.

A Class 2 driving licence and valid CPC are required to apply. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, stocking vehicles, completing paperwork, and building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• A Class 2 driving licence and valid CPC is required to apply for this role.
• Experience delivering to customer sites and handling stock is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading vehicles and placing stock into designated areas at customer sites.
• Ensuring vehicles are stocked with sufficient sundry items, such as repair labels and bags.
• Collecting and delivering items in line with route documentation, including loading and emptying on-premises lockers and exchanging dust control mats.
• Accurately completing all required paperwork and delivery documentation.
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with customers and acting as a key liaison between customers and the business.
• Supporting the Transport Manager by covering routes for absent drivers when required.
• Undertaking ad-hoc duties to support the wider transport and service delivery team.
