Job summary

Johnsons Workwear is seeking a Relief Service Delivery Driver to support delivery and collection of stock across customer sites and the plant. The role emphasizes compliance with transport regulations and delivering reliable, high-quality service.

The position requires a valid CPC and 7.5-tonne licence, and will provide flexible coverage across routes with a strong customer-service focus.

Qualifications

Must hold CPC qualification and a valid 7.5t licence.
Must have a clean driving record and a current driving licence.
Willingness to work flexible hours across delivery routes.

Responsibilities

Loading and unloading vehicles and placing stock into designated areas at customer sites.
Ensuring vehicles are stocked with sundry items such as repair labels and bags.
Collecting and delivering items per route documentation, including loading/unloading on-premises lockers.
Accurately completing all required paperwork and delivery documentation.
Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and acting as a liaison between customers and the business.
Covering routes for absent drivers as required by Transport Manager.
Undertaking ad-hoc duties to support the wider transport and service delivery team.
