ReFood in Widnes is hiring Class 2 HGV Drivers with full training provided. Whether you are newly qualified or seeking a fresh start, you’ll be supported on every step as you learn the route and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence is required.
• Driver CPC and Tacho card are essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle to collect food waste from customer locations around the depot.
• Ensure timely and efficient collections.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and help keep fleet and people safe.
• Be the face of the business – professional, polite, and dependable.
• Return the waste to our facility for processing into renewable energy.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle to collect food waste from a variety of customer locations surrounding our depot
• Ensuring timely and efficient collections
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and helping keep our fleet and people safe
• Being the face of the business – professional, polite, and dependable
• Returning the waste to our facility where it's processed into renewable energy
