Job summary

The Staffing Network is recruiting for a service delivery driver on behalf of a well-established Hygiene and service partner in the UK. The role is temporary to permanent, based from Kempston depot, with a Vauxhall Movano van provided after training. Start times vary by route, with early starts from around 5:00–6:30 am.

You will service industrial mats and must be physically fit and customer-focused. Full UK driving licence (12+ months) and a clean record (no more than 6 points) are required,

Qualifications

• Must have full driving licence for min 12 months and be older than 21.
• Experience as a commercial driver.
• Excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Service and drive the floor mats route in a timely and professional manner.
• Operate a Vauxhall Movano van as part of daily duties.
• Attend training and go on a trial day to assess fit for the role.

Job description

The Staffing Network is a labour provider across the UK. Our client is a well-established Hygiene and service partner in various different sectors, and they are looking for a service delivery driver on a Temporary to permanent basis, in their Industrial Mats section.

Type of work

• Monday to Friday £12.71-£14.24 per hour
• Start time depends on where you are heading - so if its route up on the coast you might have to start at 5am, if local than probably around 6.30- 7am
• Servicing floor mats- are industrial matting which is relatively heavy.
• The job requires a lot of bending therefore candidates must be physically fit.
• Driver will get a van- Vauxhall Movanos.
• You will be trained before going out on the road and will be sent on a trial day to see if the job suits.

Depot is based in Kempston MK42 7QB.

Finishing times depends on the route. It will take longer in first 2 weeks but then they will know their routes and will pick up on speed.

Must Have

• Must have full driving licence for min 12 months, must be older than 21
• Experience in commercial Driver
• Excellent Customer service
• No more than 6 points on Licence
