Job summary

Driver Hire Gatwick in Crawley is seeking a reliable Van Driver to deliver linen products to restaurants and hotels. This role involves Monday to Friday work with early start times, covering routes in the South West and London areas. You must have a valid licence and be within 10 miles of Crawley.

Expect 15-20 deliveries per shift, adherence to transport regulations, and meticulous paperwork handling. On-site parking and weekly pay are provided, with an immediate start opportunity.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driving licence.
• Operate vehicle responsibly and securely.
• No more than 6 points, with no major endorsements/convictions.
• Live within 10 miles of Crawley.
• At least 1 year of Class 2 driving experience.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

This job will involve workingMonday to Friday, delivering quality linen products to restaurants, hotels etc. Routes on this job vary between the South West, London areas etc.

Responsibilities

• Up to15-20deliveries on aVandepending on distance.


• Monday to Fridaystarting between04:30 am to 08:00 am


• Ensure compliance with driving regulations.


• Make sure all paperwork is signed, accurate and distributed.


• Conduct daily vehicle checks which fulfil health and safety criteria on thevehicle.


• Oversee safe loading and unloading of goods.

Qualifications/Experience

• You must hold a valid driving license.


• Be able to operate the vehicle responsibly and safely, ensuring loads are safe and secure.


• No more than 6 points, with no major endorsements/convictions. No (CD/IN/DR/TT)


• Would need to live within 10miles of the workplace in Crawley


• Minimum one year relevant driving experience on aClass 2


• Good navigational skills


• Right to work in the UK
