Job Description:

Job title: Service Charge Accounts Administrator - Maternity Cover

Location: Ringwood, BH24 3FA

Hours: 37 hours per week

About the role:

Churchill Estates Management (CEM) is seeking a Service Charge Accounts Administrator to join our friendly Accounts and Finance team in Ringwood for a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based at our Head Office, you will support the team in managing Service Charge accounts for multiple retirement developments across the UK.

Key duties include:

  • Managing development budgets in line with Churchill Estates workflow
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparing Audit Files
  • Supporting Lodge Managers and Area Management teams with development budgets
  • Handling homeowner queries regarding service charges and accounts

The working hours are 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Thursday, and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday, with a one-hour lunch break.

About you:

We seek a candidate with excellent organizational skills, friendly communication, and team spirit. Previous accounting and budgeting experience is advantageous. Attention to detail is crucial, especially when handling large numerical data. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel at an intermediate level is required, and experience with Qube Property Management System is a plus. Candidates should have at least GCSE grade C/5 (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

Full training will be provided from day one, along with opportunities to pursue AAT accounting qualifications and develop your career in finance.
