Randstad CPE in Croydon, England, is recruiting a Service Charge/Portfolio Accountant for a hybrid, permanent role. You will manage end-to-end service charge accounting for a dedicated portfolio, liaising with Property Managers, clients, and auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The role requires experience in service charge accounting and knowledge of RICS/ARMA regulations, with exposure to Qube/Yardi/Tramps and MS Excel.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a Service Charge Accountant or Portfolio/Block Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of residential property management regulations (RICS, ARMA).
• Hands-on experience with property accounting systems and MS Excel.

Aufgaben

• Prepare year-end service charge accounts following RICS Codes of Practice and ARMA rules.
• Manage accruals, prepayments, developer voids, income splits, and balancing adjustments.
• Coordinate client audits, submit VAT returns to HMRC, and issue Section 20b notices.
• Resolve complex accounting queries with property managers, freeholders, and RMCs.
• Assist with the financial onboarding of newly acquired properties.
