Job summary

Auto Windscreens, a leading UK automotive glazing company, is hiring a Service Centre Manager for its Luton operation. You will drive operational efficiency, lead a motivated team and uphold the highest customer service standards.

The role focuses on managing shifts, processes, KPI performance, and compliance with health and safety, quality, and environmental requirements. You will report to the Area Manager and contribute to profitable delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading service teams in a customer-focused environment.
• Strong KPI and performance management skills.
• Experience with P&L and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead a team with regular communication and recognition.
• Manage team per company procedures including disciplinary and performance reviews.
• Monitor performance and address KPI concerns.
• Plan staffing and leave to ensure productivity.
• Manage a P&L and control costs to keep profitability.
• Handle customer complaints and develop root-cause action plans.
• Present weekly/monthly performance reports to Area Manager.
• Ensure health and safety, quality and environmental requirements are met.
