Job summary

Softcat is seeking a Service Architect Associate to shape and design quality services across the business. You will work with customers and internal teams to ensure service processes, tooling and architectures are fit for purpose and robust to implement.

You will help create operational designs, collaborate on tool integration, and assist with service introduction, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and clear communication across a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• ITIL (v4) preferable with awareness of SIAM, Agile and Lean beneficial.
• Experience in an IT Services organisation is beneficial.
• Contract review experience in an operational capacity, focused on requirements and solutions alignment.
• Demonstrable experience working in a highly analytical way to find creative solutions to challenges.
• Excellent written and oral communication, able to present information clearly and persuasively.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships within cross-functional virtual teams and with key stakeholders.
• Demonstrable organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage operational service designs, including process maps, RACI's and supporting collateral.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design tools and systems for our services.
• Contribute to planning for service introduction.
• Work with Third Parties to create integrated service offerings.
• Ensure architecture quality is robust and well communicated to relevant teams.
• Review and improve existing services.
