Job summary

Installio is seeking a Service and Maintenance engineer to join our heat pump team, carrying out reactive maintenance, call-outs, and annual services in customers' homes across the UK. You will fault find, support installation engineers, and receive ongoing training including FGas and heat pump design.

Applicants should be a Plumber/Heating engineer with NVQ Level 2/3, G3 Unvented, WRAS, and UK driving license (6 points max).

Qualifications

• Plumber/Heating engineer with NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing.
• G3 Unvented qualification and WRAS knowledge.
• Experience with heat pumps and pipework installation (solder/press).
• Valid UK driving license with up to 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Support heat pump team with remedials and call outs
• Conduct annual services for heat pumps
• Assist install teams with fault finding and commissioning
• Assist with Air Conditioning installations (training provided)
• Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service

Working with leading energy brands including E.ON Next, Good Energy, and So Energy, we deliver heat pumps, solar and home electrification to homes across the country.

Tasks

Working directly in customers' homes, you will be an intrinsic member of our heat pump team, tackling reactive maintenance and call outs, and conducting annual services. Prior experience with heat pumps is a must and you already have the skills needed to fault find and support our installation engineers. We will provide ongoing training to support your personal development with things like FGas, Heat pump design training, and manufacturer training.

Responsibilities

• Support our heat pump team solve remedials and call outs
• Conduct annual services for heat pumps
• Support install teams where necessary (Fault finding, commissioning, etc)
• Support with Air Con installations (training will be provided)
• Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service

Your profile

Required

• Plumber/Heating engineer
• NVQ level 2 or 3 in Plumbing
• G3 Unvented
• WRAS Water Regulations
• Experience with heat pumps
• Experience installing pipework (solder & press) for unvented cylinders and radiators
• Valid driver's license with 6 points or less

Desirable but not necessary

• Level 3 heat pump qualifications (we will provide this training if you don't have this)
• FGas (we will provide this training if you don't have this)
