We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated electrically biased Service and Commissioning Engineer to join our niche sector client's team. The role involves ensuring efficient installation, testing, and customer handover of control systems. Our client offers high-quality services including Project Management, Implementation, Consultancy, and Software Development to blue-chip clients worldwide. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking to recruit a multi-skilled engineer to support their Industrial Automation and Projects team.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with resourcefulness and determination, responsible for tasks such as:

1. Verifying installed equipment standards and marking discrepancies.
2. Performing system testing as per ICT documents.
3. Fault finding, modification, and debugging PLC and SCADA systems.
4. Device setup, configuration, and system verification.
5. Client Site Acceptance Testing and operational control tests.

Qualifications include at least an HND in electrical or control engineering, with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in electrical control system testing. The candidate should hold a full UK driving license, have no criminal convictions, and be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship. The role is field-based, covering the UK and occasionally Europe, and is suited for candidates in the Midlands or South with flexible travel availability.
