Job Description:

BMS Service and Commissioning Engineer required. Our client is an established BMS company looking for a BMS Service and Commissioning Engineer to join the team for work around the South of England.

Successful candidates will ideally have experience with commercial projects such as hospitals, prisons, and leisure centres in a BMS capacity. Experience with Trend, Tridium, and Siemens preferred.

BMS Service and Commissioning Engineer Position Overview

• Deal with the Service and Maintenance, install and commissioning of BMS systems within various areas.
• Design and implement all Mechanical Building Services BEMS control systems across the full spectrum of building services.
• Preparing functional design specifications and points schedules.
• Prepare design information and tender documentation including BMS network schematics, BMS plant schematics including field device locations, BMS points lists and schedules, BMS sequence of operation descriptions for performance and functional design specifications, and BMS materials and workmanship specifications.
• Representing the company at meetings with clients and contractors when required.
• Site surveys, inspections, and monitor site works.
• Carry out on-site inspections of BEMS installations and witnessing of BEMS control functionality Report writing.
• Provide advice on appropriate control strategies for building services systems and application of the latest Building Energy Management technologies.
• Maintaining records and archives to company standards.
• Manage own workload and liaise with the Office.
• Complete additional tasks as instructed by management.
• Overtime may be required to complete jobs/tasks; prior notice will be provided.
• Lone working is a requirement of the position.
