Job summary

Johnsons Cars’ Volkswagen dealership in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join a leading independent automotive retail group. You will deliver outstanding aftersales service, schedule work and provide accurate servicing estimates.

You will promote parts and services, keep customers informed with timely updates, and drive sales opportunities while maintaining high standards of professionalism.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry.
• Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
• Target-driven mindset with the ability to maximise sales opportunities.
• Excellent organisational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver aftersales customer service at all stages.
• Booking in vehicles, scheduling work and managing workshop diaries.
• Providing accurate servicing/repair estimates with timescales and costs.
• Keeping customers informed with clear updates.
• Promoting additional products, services, parts and accessories.

We’re looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our Volkswagen dealership in Birmingham

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering exceptional customer service at every stage of the aftersales journey
• Booking in vehicles, scheduling work, and managing workshop diaries
• Providing accurate estimates for servicing and repairs, including timescales and costs
• Keeping customers fully informed with clear and timely updates
• Promoting additional products, services, parts, and accessories where appropriate
• Ensuring all customer expectations are met and exceeded

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry (essential)
• Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
• A target-driven mindset with the ability to maximise sales opportunities
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A professional, customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence
