Job summary

Snows Motor Group is seeking a Service Advisor for our Peugeot dealership in Portsmouth. You will be the main contact for customers seeking servicing and repairs, coordinating between workshop and customer to ensure outstanding service.

Role requires strong customer-facing skills, the ability to manage documentation, and provide accurate estimates and invoicing. A full, clean driving licence and retail automotive service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles.
• Ability to plan, organise and meet deadlines.
• Able to assimilate information quickly and provide considered responses.
• Retail automotive service experience preferred.
• Proficient with PC and web applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with advice on servicing and repairs and act as the focal point between workshop and customer.
• Manage documentation and maintain customer records and follow-up systems.
• Prepare and present accurate invoices and obtain payment in line with procedures.
• Communicate progress of workshop jobs to service reception and address delays or issues.
• Provide guidance on mechanical/diagnostic queries to Technicians.

Your day

As a Service Advisor you will be the focal point for customers requiring advice, servicing, and repairs to their vehicles. You will also manage the flow of information between the workshop and the customer, always delivering excellent customer service.

Your day will include:

• Ensuring the customer receives the best possible customer service and that they are aware of all products and services available.
• Initiating documentation and maintaining customer records and follow up systems.
• Providing customers with estimates, and notifying customer’s promptly when the work is complete.
• Ensuring that all jobs passed for warranty/goodwill submissions are accurately invoiced and costed.
• Preparing and presenting accurate invoices to customer in order to obtain payment in line with company procedures.
• Monitoring progress of jobs in the workshop and advising service reception of any delays or issues.
• Providing guidance and advise on mechanical and diagnostic queries as requested by Technicians.
