Job summary

Midlands Truck & Van is recruiting a Service Advisor for our Wolverhampton Depot. You will greet customers, check in vehicles and create quotations for repairs, coordinating pick-up times and keeping customers updated on status.

Ideal candidates will have automotive sector experience, strong IT skills (MS Office), and excellent communication. You will liaise with workshop staff, perform basic visual inspections, and handle general admin duties to ensure smooth workflow between Customer Service

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive sector desirable.
• Experience in a customer contact and customer support position.
• General IT skills including Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enjoy working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Checking in vehicles, including entering customer and vehicle information on internal software.
• Creating quotations for customer on repairs and works, ensuring the customer is happy.
• Arranging vehicle pick up date, time method and location with the customer.
• Monitoring repair and works status, keeping the customer up to date.
• Explaining and handing over the repair and work details to the workshop team.
• Performing visual inspections of vehicles before and after any works conducted.
• To undertake general administrative duties to ensure the smooth flow of work within the Customer Service and Workshop teams.
