Service Advisor – Southampton (Automotive / Motor Trade)

I am working with a Main Car Dealership in the Southampton area who are currently looking for a Service Advisor to join their growing team.

The working hours are 8.00 – 17.30, Monday to Friday, and alternate Saturdays 8.00-12.00.

Salary-wise, the OTE is uncapped, with significant potential around service plan sales and upsell. Realistically, if you maximize all opportunities, you could earn up to 40K.

About the position

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and proven customer service skills.

You will be welcomed into a warm and friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting product. The main responsibilities include:

• Meeting and greeting customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Booking vehicles into the technical workshop.
• Liaising with the workshop to track vehicle progress and ensure vehicles are ready at the promised time.
• Providing exceptional customer service, including arranging onward travel, updating customers during repairs, handing over vehicles, and maintaining ongoing relationships.
• Maintaining thorough product knowledge and updating it through manufacturer-led training.
• Adopting a sales approach regarding upsell opportunities.
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration.
