Job summary

Van Mossel Automotive Group in Poole is seeking a Service Advisor to be the main link between customers and the workshop team, delivering a premium aftersales experience with clear communication and trustworthy guidance.

You will keep customers informed throughout the service and repair journey, explain vehicle faults, upsell essential repairs where appropriate, and maintain accurate records to ensure a seamless, high-quality customer experience that reflects our brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in a car service department or main dealer is preferred.
• Solid technical knowledge to answer customer questions.
• Ability to multitask and use initiative.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• Excellent organisational abilities.
• Thrives in a team environment.
• CDK knowledge is desirable and training will be provided.
• Professional and courteous manner at all times.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout their service and repair journey.
• Communicate and provide regular updates on the progress of customer vehicles while in the workshop.
• Explain vehicle faults and repair recommendations confidently and professionally.
• Identify opportunities to upsell essential and urgent repairs that benefit the customer.
• Deliver a premium customer experience that reflects the quality of our brand and vehicles.
• Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints effectively, working towards positive resolutions.
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records in line with company procedures.

We have an opportunity for a Service Advisor to join our team at Volkswagen Cars in Poole.

As a Service Advisor, you will be the key link between our customers and the workshop team, delivering a professional and seamless aftersales experience. You will be responsible for keeping customers informed throughout the service and repair process, providing expert advice, and ensuring every customer receives a premium level of service.

Your responsibilities will include:

What you will need to be a Service Advisor at our Volkswagen Cars:

• Experience within a service department, main dealer experience would be an advantage
• Possess good technical knowledge with the ability to answer customer queries
• Ability to multitask and use your own initiative when faced with challenges
• Excellent communication and computer skills
• Impressive organisational skills
• Ability to thrive within a team
• Extensive knowledge of CDK desirable, although training will be given
• Professional and courteous manner
• Full UK driving licence

Hours of work will be 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday - 8.00 am to 18.00 pm
