Job summary

Hawco Group in Inverness is seeking a Service Advisor to deliver an outstanding experience for service and vehicle repair customers. You will be part of a knowledgeable team, maintaining a warm, professional demeanor to uphold the company image.

This full-time role emphasizes attention to detail, process adherence and some automotive industry experience, with a 42.5-hour week from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Accommodating customer telephone enquiries relating to service and repairs.
• Answering customers’ questions regarding technical problems, warranties, services and repairs.
• Checking all documents for accurate completion, maintaining all customer record files and job cards daily.
• Liaising with service manager to ensure workshop loading suits diary bookings.
• Producing invoices for completed work and explains the content to customers.
• Ensuring service bookings and appointments are managed efficiently.
• Establishing customers drop off and collection requirements or arranging alternative transport.

What’s the job?

Joining Hawco Group as a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering a fantastic experience for all our service and vehicle repair customers. This is a customer-facing role you will need to be warm, professional and friendly to uphold the company image.

You will be a member of a knowledgeable, driven team that understands what you stand for.

This role would suit somebody with a fantastic eye for detail and who enjoys working to a process, with some technical understanding and previous experience in the automotive industry.

Full-time permanent role working 42.5 hours per week, 8:30am - 5:30pm

Daily responsibilities include

• Accommodating customer telephone enquiries relating to service and repairs
• Answering customers’ questions regarding technical problems, warranties, services and repairs in a manner that is easily understood
• Checking all documents for accurate completion, maintaining all customer record files and job cards on a daily basis and storing records logically for ease of retrieval
• Liaising with service manager to ensure workshop loading suits diary bookings
• Producing invoices for completed work and explains the content to customers
• Ensuring service bookings and appointments are managed efficiently
• Establishing customers drop off and collection requirements or arranging alternative transport where necessary

Key attributes and skills you need

• Customer service experience is beneficial
• A confident user of computers and a working knowledge and understanding of RTC/ADP software is advantageous
• Administration experience and the ability to work well under pressure, handle conflicting demands, and schedule work appropriately
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport and develop and maintain strong working relationships
• Ability to create a relaxed and stress free environment for customers whilst contributing to a happy, positive working and team environment
• An honest, respectful and diligent approach to work with a strong sense of integrity
• Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details
