Drift Bridge Volkswagen is hiring a Service Advisor in Epsom, UK. The role focuses on liaising between customers and workshop, managing bookings, and ensuring high levels of service throughout the vehicle lifecycle.

You will work with the service team to drive customer satisfaction and accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years as a Service Advisor, VAG experience, and strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years as a Service Advisor in automotive, preferably VAG or premium brand.
• Ability to explain technical information to customers in clear terms.

Responsibilities

Salary: £30,000-£32,380 dependant on experience + £6,000 OTE

Hours: 08:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday, with a requirement to work 1 Saturday Morning every 4 weeks.

About the Role:

Drift Bridge Volkswagen is seeking a skilled Service Advisor with VAG (Volkswagen Audi Group) experience to join our dedicated team. As a Service Advisor, you will act as the key liaison between our customers and workshop, ensuring that each customer experiences exceptional service throughout their vehicle's time with us. This role offers the opportunity to work with a respected automotive brand and play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of customer care. In this position, you will manage the service process from initial booking to vehicle handover. Working closely with our technical and parts teams, you’ll ensure customer satisfaction, maintain accurate records, and identify opportunities to recommend products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Provide a warm, professional greeting and clear communication on all service or repair needs.
• Service Coordination: Collaborate with the workshop and technicians to ensure efficient completion of work, including organizing test drives as needed.
• Upselling: Offer additional products and services that benefit the customer, such as warranties and service plans.

• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the parts and aftersales teams to ensure smooth operations.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will have VAG experience and the ability to build rapport with customers, communicate clearly, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Previous Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry, ideally with VAG or a premium brand.
• Technical Understanding: Knowledge of vehicle service and repair processes, able to explain technical information to customers.
• Customer-Focused: Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills, with a passion for excellent customer service.
• Organisational Skills: Ability to manage bookings, paperwork, and communications effectively.
• Upselling Ability: Comfortable recommending products and services such as service plans, warranties, and accessories.
• IT Proficiency: Familiarity with dealership software like Kerridge or RTC.
• Driving Licence: A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
