Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is seeking a Service Advisor for our Coventry Retail Centre. You’ll be the main point of contact for customers while their vehicle is being serviced, ensuring clear communication and a trusted experience.

In this role you’ll develop product knowledge, promote additional services, schedule appointments accurately, and maintain precise customer records to support service revenue and customer satisfaction across our brands.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for customers while their vehicle is in for maintenance and repair.
• Keep customers informed on progress and build trust through transparent updates.
• Promote additional services and repairs based on technician recommendations.
• Schedule workshop appointments accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate customer records in the dealership systems.
• Support with achieving service revenue and customer satisfaction goals.

As a Service Advisor you are the main point of contact for all customer communication while the vehicle is undergoing maintenance and repair in our Retail Centre. • Keep customers informed and updated on the progress of their vehicle repairs, ensuring transparency and trust
• Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge, enhancing expertise through manufacturer-led training
• Actively promote additional services and repairs based on Technician recommendations, helping customers maintain vehicle health and increasing service revenue
• Schedule vehicles for appointments in the workshop efficiently and accurately
• Conduct pre-appointment customer calls to confirm bookings, ensure readiness, and address any preliminary questions
• Maintain precise and up-to-date customer records within our systems for effective service management Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues
• Demonstrated experience in delivering exceptional customer service
• Skilled at identifying customer needs and opportunities for upselling

• Previous experience in a target driven role, demonstrating the ability to meet goals
