Service Advisor needed in the Aldershot area of Hampshire.

Job Role – Motor Vehicle Service Advisor

We are working with a Motor Garage actively seeking a Service Advisor to join their friendly team in the Aldershot area of Hampshire.

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Service Advisor Duties include:

1. Ensuring customers are aware of service and repair work required to their vehicles in a professional manner
2. Advising on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken
3. Selling additional products as appropriate to customers’ needs
4. Advising on timescales and collection arrangements
5. Producing job cards on in-house computer system
6. Updating customer and vehicle records
7. Documenting all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy
8. Preparation and completion of invoices

Requirements for this Service Advisor position:

1. Some experience working as a Service Advisor within a motor garage, which could be in passenger cars, commercial vehicles, HGV, or LCV environments
2. Full driving licence

As a Service Advisor, you will ensure the highest standards of courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers and the public. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, excellent rapport-building abilities, and a proven track record of delivering great CSI results. Confidence in up-selling opportunities is also essential.
