Job summary

Positive Futures in Northern Ireland is seeking a Service Administrator to support the delivery of the Supported Living Service. This fixed-term role runs for 9 months with 20 hours per week and potential for extension, with flexible days available during interview.

You will assist the Service Manager with administrative processes, support recruitment and induction, prepare documents to the organisation’s in-house style, and contribute to service objectives while complying with Access NI

Qualifications

  • GCSEs incl Maths and English required.
  • Typing speed 50–55 wpm required.
  • 2 years office experience, with at least 12 months in a busy office.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Service Manager with administrative processes and regulatory compliance.
  • Support recruitment, induction and training processes for new staff.
  • Produce documents to high standard of accuracy and layout in-house style.
  • Contribute to development and review of Service Objectives and Action Plans.
  • Access NI basic disclosure is required for this position.

Job description

Service Administrator

To assist in the co-ordination and administration of the Supported Living Service.

Additional Information:

Role information: This is a Fixed term position for a period of 9 months with possibility of extension up to 12 months,

Weekly Hours: 20 hours per week. (Days can be discussed further at interview)

Salary Information -Salary scales are based on full-time hours (37.5 hours per week). Salary for part-time hours will be calculated on a pro rata basis.

About the role
  • Assist the Service Manager in the delivery of a high-quality Service by supporting the administrative processes to ensure we are working within the requirements of relevant policies and regulations, including the Regulation Quality and Improvement Authority and Supporting People.

  • Provide administrative support for the recruitment, induction and training processes for new staff to the service.

  • Produce documents to a high standard of accuracy and layout in line with the Organisation’s in-house style.

  • Contribute to the development and review of Service Objectives and Action Plans.

    Access NI:

    A Basic Access NI Disclosure Check will be required for this position. A criminal record will not necessarily prevent you from obtaining the position.

Required Criteria
  • Have a minimum of 3 GCSE passes at Grade C or above (or equivalent) which must include Maths and English
  • Have a minimum OCR / RSA Word processing Stage 2 (or equivalent) OR typing speed of 50 – 55 wpm
  • Have 2 years ‘office experience, of which at least 12 months experience of managing the administration in a busy office
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
