Job summary

The Ivy PTE. LTD. is looking for friendly front-of-house staff to welcome guests, guide them to tables, and take accurate orders in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

You will present menus, explain dishes and daily specials, and recommend items to enhance the dining experience while ensuring health and safety standards are followed. A strong focus on guest satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort customers to their tables.
• Present menu and provide detailed information when asked about portions, ingredients or allergies.
• Inform guests about daily specials and offer menu recommendations.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system.
• Serve orders and maintain a tidy dining area while upselling where appropriate.

• Inform customers about the day's specials
• Offer menu recommendations upon request
• Up-sell additional products when appropriate
• Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software
• Serve food and drink orders
• Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
• Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
• Follow all relevant health department regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to guests
