Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEO Strategist to join our team in London at Clarity. You will provide strategic guidance for our clients, translating complex challenges into clear, actionable plans that drive organic growth and align with business goals. You have a proven track record as an accomplished SEO professional with strong client-facing skills and the ability to combine strategic thinking with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Lead on larger client portfolios, defining and executing comprehensive SEO strategies.
  • GEO & AI Search Strategy: Develop and implement Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) strategies to help clients adapt to AI and conversational interfaces.
  • Client and Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring seamless delivery and communication with the client services team.
  • Opportunity Identification: Develop a proactive approach to identify new growth opportunities for clients.
  • Team Training & Development: Assist SEO Leads in internal training, deliver sessions on advanced topics, and mentor junior team members.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide actionable insights and analysis, interpreting performance to tell a story and identify commercial impact; contribute to improving reporting processes.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to the agency's marketing objectives through blog posts, presentations, and other media.
  • Channel Leadership: Support the London office in deploying and embedding our SEO proposition across the business and keeping methods cutting-edge.
Skills and Competencies
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a strategic SEO role.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage large, complex SEO projects from concept to completion.
  • Advanced proficiency with core SEO tools including Semrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, and Google Search Console.
  • Strong ability to interpret complex data to identify trends, opportunities, and the commercial value of SEO.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, translating technical concepts into a clear, business-focused narrative.
