Locations – Milan or London

As an SEO Specialist in our RS SEO team, you will help drive commercial performance and brand awareness through visibility on SERP (Search Engine Results Page) within EMEA markets.

Over the last 18 months, RS has brought SEO activities in-house to embed SEO across the organization, delivering value and creating a strategic advantage over competitors.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to set clear SEO goals, optimization strategies, and drive successful outcomes with stakeholders.

Our increased SEO maturity aims to set a new industry standard for operational excellence.

The successful candidate will join a wider SEO team of 14 practitioners, with a peer group of at least 4 managing the UK, France, Germany, and Rest of EMEA.

What you will be doing:

• Owning local keyword research, mapping, and maintenance processes
• Supporting SEO performance dashboard management and opportunity analysis
• Taking ownership of local market performance, monitoring fluctuations, trends, macro factors, and their impact on commercial results
• Delivering analyses to prioritize opportunities based on demand, growth, traffic, revenue, and ROI
• Owning metadata optimization, supporting content and link-building teams
• Building strong relationships with local markets to provide insights and SEO optimization
• Collaborating with content localization to address content duplication and indexability issues
• Providing high-quality recommendations to enhance content, target SERP formats, and inform product categorization
• Training local content and marketing teams on SEO performance levers
• Communicating effectively to align stakeholders, manage priorities, and foster collaboration
• Proactively identifying opportunities and challenges, owning follow-up actions, and driving improvements
• Translating SEO data into actionable insights through clear reporting and storytelling

• Experience in SEO optimizations for SERP improvement
• Analytical skills to interpret SEO data
• Ability to communicate SEO insights to non-technical audiences and influence actions
• Project management skills
• Experience with SEO tools like BrightEdge, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Adobe, PowerBI
• Ecommerce experience, preferably in B2B
• Experience in an enterprise SEO team
• Experience working in a matrix organization
• Proven success across different search intents and content types
• Customer-centric mindset, considering audience personas and digital experience
• Up-to-date with SEO best practices and industry trends
