Job summary

Searchability is seeking an experienced SEO Manager to lead organic search strategies for both its own site and a portfolio of client accounts in a hybrid role in Birmingham.

You will drive technical SEO, content optimisation and keyword research, while working with cross-functional teams to maximise visibility, traffic and conversions, including exploration of AI Search and LLM optimisation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on SEO experience, ideally agency-side.
• Proven experience developing and implementing successful SEO strategies.
• Strong technical SEO knowledge including crawlability, indexing, redirects and site architecture.
• Experience with keyword research, content optimisation and on-page SEO.
• Confident analysing performance and turning data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience working directly with clients and presenting SEO performance.
• Strong knowledge of GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager and Screaming Frog.
• Experience with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush or Majestic.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.
• Understanding of HTML would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of LLM SEO / AI Search would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• As SEO Manager, you’ll take ownership of organic search strategy across the agency’s website and client accounts.
• Identify opportunities to improve organic visibility, traffic, leads and conversions via technical SEO, content optimisation, keyword research and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with content, paid media, social, design and development teams to embed SEO in wider marketing activity.
• Test new approaches internally, including AI Search and LLM optimisation.
