Job summary

The Bamford Collection is seeking an experienced SEO Manager to lead organic growth across Daylesford Organic, Bamford, and Daylesford Stays. You will report to the Senior Performance Marketing Manager and drive the SEO roadmap with external developers and internal teams to enhance visibility and conversions.

Based in South Kensington or Gloucestershire, you will shape content, technical SEO, and UX improvements while staying ahead of AI search platform strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SEO experience, ideally in wellness/lifestyle/D2C brands.
• Strong technical SEO knowledge; Magento experience preferred.
• Proven ability to work with multiple teams across functions.
• Excellent project management and attention to detail.
• Data-driven with solid SEO analytics and reporting skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication; capable of presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
• Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to drive organic growth and brand visibility across Bamford Collection brands.
• Create strategies to maximise brand visibility and product recommendations on AI search platforms.
• Conduct keyword research and SEO analysis for PLPs, PDPs, journals, and blogs.
• Optimise content, meta tags, headers, and URLs for better rankings.
• Monitor website performance using SEO tools; provide regular optimisation recommendations.
• Identify technical SEO issues and collaborate with developers to improve UX and performance.
• Lead link-building activities with quality backlinks from reputable sources.
• Perform SEO audits, competitive analysis, and benchmarking for improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with content, design, and product teams to ensure keyword-reach content and campaign alignment.
• Stay updated on search algorithm changes and industry trends.

HOURS: 40 hours per week, based in the office.

This role can be based at our office in South Kensington, London or at Daylesford Farm in Gloucestershire.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Bamford Collection is looking for a creative and data-driven SEO Manager to join our growing digital team and play a key role in shaping the organic growth strategy across our luxury lifestyle brands; Daylesford Organic, Bamford, and Daylesford Stays.

Reporting to the Senior Performance Marketing Manager, this role will oversee the development and execution of the SEO strategy across Daylesford Organic, Bamford, and Daylesford Stays. The successful candidate will drive organic growth and increase brand visibility through innovative and effective SEO strategies, including improving our visibility on AI platforms. Working on both technical improvements with our external developers, and content, structural and UX improvements with our marketing, ecommerce and performance marketing team this role is integral to the ambitious business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute a comprehensive search engine optimisation strategy to drive organic growth, increase business visibility and overall conversion across the Bamford Collection.

• Develop strategies to maximize brand visibility, citation share and product. recommendations across AI search platforms.

• Conduct thorough keyword research and SEO analysis to identify relevant target keywords and phrases to further optimise PLPs, PDPs, journals and blogs.

• Optimise website content, meta tags, headers, and URLs to improve search engine rankings.

• Monitor and analyse website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimisation.

• Identify technical SEO issues and collaborate with the web development team to implement solutions for improved website performance and user experience.

• Execute link-building activities to ensure quality backlinks from reputable sources.

• Conduct SEO audits, competitive analysis, and benchmarking to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Work closely with internal teams - content, design, and product to ensure optimal content performance and seamless integration with marketing campaigns and create high-quality, keyword-reach content.

• Stay updated with the latest search engine algorithm changes and industry trends to adapt SEO strategies accordingly.

SKILLS & EXPERTISE

• 5+ years of experience in SEO, preferably within wellness and lifestyle brands or D2C eCommerce.

• Strong technical SEO knowledge, with experience in Magento preferred.

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with colleagues across different functions.

• Strong project management skills and keen attention to detail.

• Data-driven mindset with a strong understanding of SEO analytics and reporting. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to drive organic growth.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience managing senior stakeholders and presenting insights effectively.

• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
