Compare My Move is hiring an SEO Manager to lead organic growth, improve lead generation, and oversee SEO performance. The role is based onsite in the Cardiff office and involves collaboration with an in-house digital team.

You will manage a small team of SEO Specialists and work with management to optimize every click. This position requires technical SEO skills, leadership experience, and a commercial mindset.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Monitor and report on SEO performance daily, weekly, and monthly.
2. Mentor and manage a team of 3, ensuring targets are met.
3. Respond to algorithm updates, prioritizing high-impact fixes.
4. Identify and resolve technical issues such as crawlability, indexation, and Core Web Vitals.
5. Optimize landing pages for structure, intent, and conversions.
6. Conduct keyword research to attract high-value traffic.
7. Collaborate with developers and content teams to implement SEO best practices.
8. Oversee digital PR and backlink strategies.
9. Use data from GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Looker Studio to inform decisions.

What We Need from You

• Proven SEO experience covering technical, on-page, and off-page aspects.
• Success in lead generation and conversion-focused SEO.
• Strong knowledge of GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Looker Studio.
• Experience mentoring or leading a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working onsite every day.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and server log analysis.
• SEO certifications or analytics credentials (e.g., Google Analytics, Semrush).
