Job summary

Boots Group is seeking an SEO/GEO Manager to own the day-to-day SEO and GEO strategy for Boots.com across Health, Wellness, General Merchandise and Beauty in Nottingham. This full-time 12m FTC role sits within our digital team and partners with trading, content and PR to maximise discovery and AI-driven visibility.

You’ll lead technical SEO, AI-search readiness, and coordinated campaigns, building scalable workflows and mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, CS, or related field.
Minimum 5 years hands-on technical SEO experience.
Experience in AI search optimisation and GEO.
Experience managing large ecommerce sites and delivering growth.

Responsibilities

Design end-to-end organic growth strategies across traditional SEO and AI-driven search.
Lead GEO strategy, optimizing content, entities, and structured data.
Identify growth opportunities across web, app, and in-store journeys.
Run technical SEO and AI-search readiness audits.
Collaborate with trading and category teams to understand search and demand.
Work with content, social, PR, Product, Engineering, UX and UI teams to improve discoverability.
Ensure strong technical foundations: site architecture, speed, structured data, mobile optimisation.
Build scalable workflows to automate SEO and GEO delivery.
Turn data into actionable insights for leadership.
Mentor junior colleagues in SEO and GEO.
